The Flame of Theosophy: revisiting the fundamentals

The upcoming International Youth Gathering will take place from 22 to 27 June 2024 in Bhowali (India) in the Himalayas. This occasion will allow like-minded fellow young theosophists coming from different corners of the globe to approach The Flame of
Theosophy by revisiting its fundamentals and its relevance in the daily life in our present time.
Join us to strengthen the ties and the foundations of a knowledge that will be reflected in a practical way in our daily lives through talks and interactive question and answer sessions by guest speaker Shikhar Agnihotri (from India), collaborative workshops, meditation
practice, chanting, yoga and other activities by members of the WFYT. During the first four days, we will explore themes such as the septenary constitution of humankind and the Universe, karma, dharma, reincarnation, the process of death and life after death, dreams, meditation, etc. Right after that, the proposal is to navigate in the ocean of our being with a day of silent retreat in the midst of that sacred place. To culminate this adventure of 6 days, we propose an excursion to some nearby landmark of the Himalayas.
You are invited to join us in this journey of forging the bonds of a spiritual family that go beyond the distances and times of our time together. Stay tuned for more details on the Gathering.

Elke 7 jaar organiseert de Theosophical Society een Wereldcongres en het volgende mogen we verwachten in het jaar 2025.

Dit XIIe WERELDCONGRES heeft als thema:

“Naar inzicht en heelheid:

Onze rol in het vormgeven van de toekomst”.

Aansluitend aan het Wereldcongres volgt de

5e internationale conferentie van de

Theosofische Orde van Dienst.

Graag delen we de informatie die we hierover reeds ontvingen. Het kan immers helpen bij het plannen van deze evenementen die plaatsvinden in Vancouver, Canada. Deze bijeenkomsten  vallen samen met de viering van de 150ste verjaardag van de Theosophical Society en de 100ste verjaardag van de Vereniging in Canada.

Het Wereldcongres en de TOS Internationale Conferentie vinden plaats op de campus van de University of British Columbia (UBC) en men kan een van beide of allebei bijwonen. De data zijn als volgt:

 Het XIIe Wereldcongres heeft een 5-daags programma (23-27 juli).

Aankomst 22 juli of eerder

Inchecken in het World Congress op 23 juli om 8-9:30 met ontbijt

Opening om 9:30

De sluitingstermijn verstrijkt op 27 juli voor 17.00 uur.

De 5^e internationale TOS-conferentie heeft een 2-daags programma (27-29 juli).

Inchecken bij de TOS-conferentie op 27 juli om 18.00 uur – diner

Opening 19.00 uur

De sluitingsdatum is 29 juli voor 17.00 uur.

De link om in te schrijven voor het Wereldcongres en de TOS Conferentie zal beschikbaar zijn vanaf 15 juli 2024. Door in te schrijven voor één of beide evenementen en de kosten reeds betalen, schenkt de verzekering van een plaats. Een overzicht van de mogelijkheden en de zkosten zijn te bekomen via mail: eb.muigleb-st@yraterces. Alle kosten zijn in Canadese dollars.

 Online reserveringen voor accommodatie

De link om accommodatie rechtstreeks bij UBC te reserveren zal op 15 juli 2024 worden verstrekt. De definitieve tarieven zijn bevestigd en gelden voor de duur van de evenementen, evenals 3 dagen voor aanvang en 3 dagen na afloop, waardoor enige flexibiliteit mogelijk is.

Voici les informations que nous avons reçu, qui peuvent vous aider à planifier le XII Congrès Mondial à Vancouver, Canada. Ce congrès coïncidera avec la célébration du 150e anniversaire de la Theosophical Society et du 100e anniversaire de la société au Canada.

Le Congrès, ainsi que la Conférence Internationale de l’OST, auront lieu sur le campus de l’Université de la Colombie Britannique (UCB). Vous pouvez assister à l’un ou l’autre ou aux deux.

Enregistrement au Congrès mondial le 23 juillet de 8h à 9h30 avec petit-déjeuner.

Clôture le 27 juillet à 17 heures

La 5e Conférence Internationale de l’OST aura un programme de 2 jours (27-29 juillet).

Arrivée à la Conférence de l’OST le 27 juillet à 18h00 avec dîner

Ouverture à 19 heures

Clôture le 29 juillet à 17 heures

Le lien pour s’inscrire aux événements sera disponible le 15 juillet 2024. En vous inscrivant à l’un ou aux deux événements et en payant déjà les frais, vous vous assurez d’avoir une place. Coûts en dollars canadiens.

Réservations d’hébergement en ligne

Le lien pour réserver l’hébergement directement auprès de UBC sera disponible le 15 juillet 2024. Les tarifs définitifs sont confirmés. Ces tarifs s’appliquent pour la durée du Congrès, ainsi que 3 jours avant le début et 3 jours après la fin, ce qui permet une certaine flexibilité.

The 147th International Convention of the Theosophical Society will take place from the 31th of december 2022 untill the 4th of january 2023.

“Our Responsibility in the Interconnected World”

The Convention will be physically at Adyar, India. Talks and lectures will be webcasted.
